The Oregon Ballet Theatre brings to the stage a magical version of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker. Danced to Tchaikovsky's magnificent score, this heartwarming ballet features musicians from the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra and is a major right of passage for local dancers coordinated by Alaska Dance Theatre.
The seasonal classic will feature Balanchine's version for the fourth season in a row. This production is an outstanding opportunity for the Anchorage community, offering opportunities for over 100 local dancers to perform on stage. Together with the extraordinary dancers of Oregon Ballet Theatre, this is a sugar plum treat for the whole family!
