The Capitol Steps: on the heels of the presidential inauguration, America's funniest politicos are coming to the Atwood stage. Begun as a group of Senate staffers set out to satirize the very people and places that employ them, the group mines the headlines of the day to create song parodies and skits. Their take-no-prisoners approach to political satire in song is the perfect antidote to what may have been the longest presidential race in American history. The members of this group have a collective 62 years of Congressional staff experience, and limitless creativity. Spoofing today's political-speak, the group features hilarious backwards talk they call "Lirty Dies." The Steps put the mock in democracy!
