Artist's Statement: "From my earliest days that I can remember, art has been a form of expression for me and a subject that I have excelled in. Throughout my early days I slowly discovered that I was a visual learner and that all I took in as life came out in the form of my work. I started out sketching, using pencil as a cheap, favorite and effective medium. It was through my private art classes that I was introduced to other mediums; mediums of color. Paints and pastels of all varieties forced me to develop a skill for color works. During my early days my works were of a darker sort and from time to time I still enjoy a dabble on the more shadowy side of art. I have always considered myself a marathon artist. I will work for extremely long periods of times often getting my finished pieces done in one sitting. I took this same philosophy from high school to college and started on my degree in Graphic Design within one week of getting out of high school. It was in my later years at the grand age of 20 that I now sit with two semesters to go toward a major in Graphic Design and a minor in history, one semester of which I hope to spend studying in Britain."
