The 4th Avenue Market

The 4th Avenue Market is located in the heart of Downtown Anchorage, Alaska, at 4th Avenue & C Street. Many long-time residents remember us as the "Post Office Mall," but things have definitely changed!

You'll find everything Alaskan in the 4th Avenue Market. Whether you want to browse our many Alaska-made crafts, gifts, art galleries, or pick up some snacks, eat a meal, have a latte', or learn about our Native lands, culture, and history, develop your family or vacation photos, or even rent a bike in summer, you'll find something to do here! Enjoy the huge 1964 Earthquake exhibit, the Historical Timeline walk along 4th Avenue, and the large outdoor Iditarod murals.

For the summer of 2008 we will have a new attraction at the 4th Avenue Market. We are constructing a 2 screen movie theatre where we will be showing "Alaska the Greatland" and a movie presentation of the Great Alaska Earthquake of 1964.
