The Fairview Community Council will host the second annual international Jane’s Walk in Anchorage on Saturday, May 2nd, at the Chester Creek parking lot at 20th and Gambell. Inspired by urban activist Jane Jacobs, “Jane’s Walk” helps put people in touch with their environment and with each other, bridging social and geographic gaps and creating a space for cities to discover themselves.
